     Aster Gallimore and Martha Pauline "Polly" Ridge were married on 29 June 1940 in Danville, Virginia. Polly was born 3 June 1918, the daughter of Stanley William Ridge and Dolly Tysinger. Aster Ralph Gallimore was the fIrst child born to Seaph and Alice Snider Gallimore. Aster was born on 11 September 1921 in Randolph County near Jackson Creek community. Shortly after their marriage, Aster and Polly went to work on building their new home on Crousetown Road, near Denton. They moved into their new home in March of 1941. Polly still lives at this location today, 2009.
