I am Mrs. Santiago the computer teacher at Addison Elementary School. I have been working here for 8 years. I really enjoy working with children and computers. I love the children's enthusiasm for learning how to use technology and how technology is all around us. I have created a special computer lab learning experience for each grade I teach. "The Panther lab is where learning and technology meet! "
I am the Elementary Student Council Advisor and I LOVE helping with our annual "Family Science Night and helping Mrs. Black with her wonderful music programs. .
I am retired from the Army. I served 20 years active duty of which I traveled all over the world. I earned an Associates Degree in Technology and worked around computers my entire military career. After retiring I went back to college to earn my Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Education Leadership.
Family I have been married for 27 years, my husband is also retired from the military and now works as a bus driver here at Addison. We have two girls Katrina and Wendy. My oldest daughter Katrina is a Respiratory Therapist and Wendy attends Michigan State University (ROTC) and majoring in Nursing.
Me In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family playing games. I like playing on the computer most of the time and making T-shirt quilts and making homemade cards.
