We're really excited to add to our camp's activities, services, and improve the infrastructure! Here's some ideas we're currently working on for next year!
- Improved communication between camps that service bikes on-playa.
- Better communication to participants about what they should expect of their bike and their responsibilities towards it on-playa.
- Looking into donating leftover foods to nearby food banks in Nevada.
- Talking to local bike donation organizations about reusing playa bikes.
- Evaluating composting as an option for our paper and food waste.
- Evaluating at-camp incineration devices for our paper and food waste.
- Further minimizing our water containers - making camp water use more streamlined.
- Continuing to communicate with others what we do to improve our camp's environmental footprint, and getting new ideas from others.
