Ottoman and Near East Philatelic Society   Publishes the journal The Levant. ONEPS is the successor to the Turkish and Ottoman Philatelic Society, which published The Tughra Times from 1979 through 1999

Oriental Philatelic Society of London  Publishes the OPAL journal.

Arbeitsgemeinschaft Türkei/Osmanisches Reich The German society for Turkish and Ottoman philately. Publishes the journal Türkei-Spiegel.

Ebay Ottoman and Turkish Collectors' Group  An online group of Ebay members who collect Turkey.

Catalog of Ottoman stamps to 1921 by Ioannis Stantzopoulos  

A List of Turkish Post Offices This site gives an extensive list of post offices by country. Click on Turkey, and the post offices will be listed by their country of current location. Most offices are spelled in the French-based transliteration system of Ottoman postmarks as well as in the Arabic script. The latitude and longitude are also given for most offices, which makes this a very helpful site.

1910 quadruple-weight registered letter from Pera (Istanbul) to Hannover.
One piastre for letter rate, one piastre for registration. The rate for additional units of 20 grams on foreign mail was reduced to 30 paras (.75 piastre) on 10 September 1909.
3 x 30 paras for second, third, and fourth increment of 20 paras totalled 2 piastres, 10 paras (90 paras).
Total of four piastres, 10 paras paid.
