The International Organization of Women Pilots
The "Ninety-Nines", Inc
The NINETY-NINES is an organization of licensed women pilots from 35 countries with about 5,000 members throughout the world. Named after the number of founding members in 1929, the "Ninety-Nines" is the also oldest aviation organization in the United States. In addition to the goals in our mission statement, the Ninety-Nines also mentors aspiring female pilots via our "Future Woman Pilot" program. Our Amelia Earhart flight scholarship program assists female pilots by paying for an entire advanced pilot certificate or rating or helping a student pilot with a New Pilot grant.
The "Palomar" chapter members are women pilots from mostly northern San Diego county who fly out of McClellan-Palomar/KCRQ airport in Carlsbad, CA. The Palomar Chapter currently has no set meeting schedule. Please contact us about future chapter gatherings and events.
