Recent updates: New Publication (1.22.09)
Principle InvestigatorDr Deborah Palliser Dept of Microbiology and Immunology Albert Einstein College of Medicine _________ _________ _________ _________ | Research InterestsDesign and delivery of RNA interference (RNAi) with a focus on cells involved in immune responses such as dendritic cells
News UpdateNew Publication: Durable protection from Herpes Simplex Virus-2 following intravaginal application of siRNAs targeting both a viral and host gene <Cell Host & Microbe> <Reuters>
Future plansOne line of investigation in the lab will be to evaluate RNAi mechanisms using various systems. Part of this project will involve generating novel reagents for siRNA delivery. These reagents will also be used as part of an effort to identify novel genes involved in dendritic cell activation. Positions availableTechnician and postdoctoral positions are available: please email your CV and a description of interests. AECOM graduate students interested in a rotation project should contact by email to schedule a meeting. |
