Welcome to the new Web site for the Technical Services Roundtable of the Pennsylvania Roundtable…

This is a simple site, the intention of which is: collaboration!!  I hope to assign others as “Web masters”—the idea being, more timely information, and an easy interface to interact with. 

The Conference page contains notes from some of the sessions sponsored by the Round Table...if you have notes or presentation slides you would like to add, please contact us.

First person will profile members of the round table.  It is long overdue, but now you will find a profile of Sharon Wiles-Young, a previous chair of the round table.  You may be contacted to be our next “first person”…or, you can volunteer yourself or suggest someone else.

 The information resources page will contain a list of resources of use to librarians working in technical services…here is where collaboration can be put in action.  A basic list will be generated, and new resources will be added.

 Member services includes information about how you can be involved—instructions on how to join the listserv, and how to friend us on Facebook.

 News alerts and events will contain (not surprisingly), news about the round table, as well as upcoming events (conferences, workshops, etc.) that may be of interest—please feel free to notify us if you would like information relating to news or events posted here.

 Finally, the research page will profile newly published resources that discusses technologies, practices, and study results that are of interest to technical services librarians.  As with News alerts and events, if you come across a resource, or want to provide a review of one, please contact us.
