Founder of CARDS. Snatak in Fine Arts (1975) from Kala Bhavan, Viswa Bharti, Shantinikatan. He has participated in many important art exhibitions in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and Toronto and specially in Academy of Fine Arts, Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata Information Centre in Kolkata, LTG Art Gallery, AIFACS in Delhi, Bajaj Art Gallery in Mumbai and Nandan Art Gallery, Santiniketan. 

He has received awards from esteemed institutions like Jharkhand State, Camlin Art Foundation, AIFACS, Sukumar Das Memorial, Academy of Fine Arts and Shilpi Samman from Ranchi, Jharkhand. He has attended many Art camps and Art work shops all over India.

Haren’s work has a fine sensibility of colour and form, and a very  unusual texture adds a new visual surface in his painting. His works has an interesting expression of tradition and modernity .
