I have been working at home for a few years now for www.westathome.com  I spent a lot of time to find legit jobs that can be done at home. There are so many scams out there. This website is my attempt to provide information to others that would like to work at home but don't want to get scammed.

MESSAGEBOARDS

The place that I found my first work at home job is www.wahm.com . Just click on messageboards. Another good one is http://www.workplacelikehome.com/forum/  These are both excellent resources for finding work at home positions.

CUSTOMER SERVICE POSITIONS

West At Home hires employees to do phone work taking orders for customers ordering products or that are calling to get information. This job pays at least the minimum wage in your state but you can make more. Go to www.westathome.com They do not hire in all states

Liveops hires independent contractors. It is similar to West At Home except you will be an independent contractor and get paid by the talk minute. This means you get paid whenever you are on the phone talking with a customer by the minute. The website is www.liveops.com . You will have to pay for a background check.

 Working Solutions hires independent contractors. Their website is http://www.workingsol.com/agents_page/

http://ww22.1800flowers.com/template.do?id=template8&page=9000#1  1-800-flowers has temporary customer service jobs that pay $8.00 per hour. You must be a resident and live in the following states; Arizona, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Ohio, New York, Texas and Virginia.

http://affinahomeagent.com/ The pay is $8.00 to 10.00 an hour. Must be able to train for an estimated 4 - 6 weeks in the Peoria, Il or Waterloo, IA area before transitioning to a home-based position.

http://www.customloyal.com/Employment.aspx  The calls you make will be customer service calls to existing newspaper subscribers. There is no cold calling. Pay is $8.00 - $12.00 per hour.

http://www.convergysworkathome.com Convergy's hires at home workers to do customer service phone work. The pay starts at $7.25 an hour and is by direct deposit only.

http://www.gecallcentercareers.com/  G.E. money hires at home workers in some states. You have to do a search on the website. They pay very well. You have to be able to do training onsite for about 6 weeks I believe. Check the website for more info.

You have to do onsite training.The current training sites are: Watertown, NY, Fayetteville, NC, Wichita Falls, TX, and Lawton, OK. Please keep in mind that training must happen in one of these locations. They have benefits. Training takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
