It is interesting that in a photocaption for the film A Woman of Affairs (Clarence Brown), Mark A Vieira quotes the script as reading "INDIVIDUAL SHOT- SITTING ROOM". Vieira, an adept cameraman himself, often emphasizes the cinematic aspects of each film he reviews with lighting, lenses and photographic effects taken into account rather than shot structure or editing. William Daniels, camerman to the film, used wide angle lenses frequently to pair Garbo and Gilbert during the film. Lewis Stone was to return to the screen with Greta Garbo after making A Woman of Affairs for her next film, Wild Orchids. A Woman of Affairs was later remade with actor Herbert Marshall (The Painted Veil) with actress Constance Bennett as The Outcast Lady. www.geocities.com/lord02141/GretaGarbo.html
