Prayer Intentions

Who are the Paduans?

The Paduans are a group of Catholic young adults* at St. Anthony Parish in Renton, WA.  We chose the term Paduans first to pay homage to the patron saint of our parish, St. Anthony of Padua.  Second, the term also describes our members and what we are trying to accomplish; like a Padawan of the Jedi Knights, Star Wars fame, the Paduans are seeking a greater understanding.  The understanding we are seeking is that of our faith and the Church.  Through prayer, service, and by acquiring knowledge, we are able to grow in our faith together.

As with the Knights Templar, our symbol is a cross but not the large one of a full fledged knight by rather a smaller one which denote our apprentice/squire status.  With prayers, service, and guidance we hope one day to become knights of our Lord.

May the Lord be with you!

*NOTE: Paduans are for young adults or adults who are young at heart AND those who are single OR married!
