Spiritual

September 2011 - A note from Steven Macklen, Owner of PAC:

My Statement of Faith: I want peace, power and confidence to face the life before me.  I want to be in the right place at the right time to receive God’s perfect blessings, as I have so many times before (Family, Career, Possessions Etc.).  This has worked for me in the name of Jesus for 28 years, therefore I cling to Him as “the way, the truth, and the light”.  I should do so humbly as I can prove nothing, but eagerly anticipate that God will.

Here I offer my personal website for sharing and promoting spiritual growth: www.smacklen.com; also follow me on twitter @smacklen.

Other spiritual activities at PAC:
  • Kids Devotion: Friday Night at 6:00-6:30.  We have strategically picked this time as it bridges the end of our After School Care Program and the beginning of our Parent's Night Out Program.  We give a short and simple devotion from 6:15-6:25.  We encourage kids to come early before PNO and hear this quick and simple devotion.
  • Hosting:
    • Young Life - On Tuesday nights we host Young Life Club
    • Wild Life - On Monday nights we host Wild Life Club
    • Riverbend Church Youth Group - Most First Sunday's in each month from 6:30-8:00
  • Supporting: Lexington Interfaith Community Services, Mt. Horeb UMCYoung Life
Currently, I volunteer in helping with L.I.F.E Kids youth ministries at Mt. Horeb UMC Church.  I assist with the 1st grade Sunday School Class during the 9:00-10:00am service.  If you have a first grader I would love to be their Sunday School teacher :)
