Time line / History

• 1993 - Established “Acro-Tots” Mobile Gymnastics – 200 Students in 12 locations.
• 1994 - Opened First Gym: “Columbia Gymnastics Academy”, Fernandina Rd. Irmo, SC. 500 Students enrolled in Gymnastics, Tumbling, and After-School Care
• 2001 - Moved CGA to current location in Lexington
• 2003 - Expanded from 10,000 to 15,000 Square Feet - Added High School Cheerleading Squad Training
• 2005 - Changed Name to Palmetto Athletic Center in order to establish ourselves as a multi-facited children’s activity center: Formed Partnership with “The Swim Lessons Company” and built outdoor pool
• 2006 - Added Kid’s Haven Child Care & Entertainment
• 2008 - Added Twisters All-Star Cheerleading Program
• 2009 - Kid’s Haven - After School Care grew to over 100 students
