Welcome to the vocal performing arts project. This project will be open to all 4-h members in the San Mateo County Area. The Goal of this project is to teach vocal performance as a group and to share our talents. We will be learning songs as part of 30 minute themed shows. These songs will be done as whole group, duets, trios and small groups. We will then perform these shows as a part of our community service to various groups (nursing homes. senior centers, ect..). We will also go and watch a vocal competition sometime in Oct/Nov. We will be doing a group performance with the sign language project for Presentation Day. For those of you who are interested, there will be an opportunity to enter a vocal competition in February and then a state competition in May. There are costs associated with these competitions but they are usally minimal.
