This 4H Horse project is in its second year. We have learned the colors of horses, the parts of horses, tying horse, safety around horses and many other useful things. There is much more to horses than riding and nothing is more important than learning about how to care for your horse. If you understand what makes your horse tick-you will be a much better rider. This is a hands on project but no riding is involved.

This year we will continue to learn about horses, why they act like they do and what it takes to keep a horse healthy and happy.
