This cooking project teaches the safe preparation of foods and various cooking techniques, table setting, reading and understanding recipes and safe storage of foods. Basic nutrition is also covered. We will meet on Wednesdays mid month from 3:30 to 4:30. Our first meeting will be November 12th at 3:30. The age group will be from 5 and up.
Learning new techniques in various medias opens doors to creativity, imagination and problem solving. Through crafting individuals learn to visualize in different ways to produce their own unique creations. In arts and crafts this year along with broadening skills, curiosity and confidence the goal is to have fun.
