Pablo Zurita Gotor

Welcome to my home page!

I am a research scientist at the Departamento de Fisica de la Tierra 1 (Geofisica y Meteorologia) of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, supported by the Ramon y Cajal program.

I graduated with an Engineering degree by the Universidad de Sevilla and a Phd degree by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to coming here, I held a research position at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a visiting scientist position at the Geophsyical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory funded by UCAR's Visiting Scientist Program.

I do theoretical research on the the general circulation of the atmosphere. The goal of this research is to improve our understanding of the dynamical processes that constrain our climate through the use of idealized models.
