About the PAASUG

The Philadelphia Area AppleScript User's Group was founded in 1999. The group provides AppleScript developers in the Philadelphia area with an opportunity to meet with other developers in the area to share experiences and ideas about scripting. Members are encouraged to bring demos, questions, problems, and other AppleScript related issues to meetings.

There are currently no membership dues, and you do not need to be a member to attend meetings.

General Meeting Information

The PAASUG typically meets on the 1st Friday of every other month, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Meeting Agenda

The agenda for PAASUG meetings is:

  • 6:30 - 6:45 PM - Introductions / Q&A
  • 6:45 - 7:00 PM - Group Business and News
  • 7:00 - 8:15 PM - Main Discussion
  • 8:15 - 8:30 PM - Raffle / Meeting Closing

At some PAASUG meetings, members bring food to share with the group.  Other times, members go out to a local restaurant after the meeting for a bite to eat.


Directions to Meeting

  1. Take Willow Grove exit of the PA Turnpike.
  2. Take 611 South, towards Willow Grove & Abington.
  3. Go roughly four lights and turn left onto Fitzwatertown Road.  Dunkin' Donuts will be on your left at the top of the intersection.
  4. On Fitzwatertown, at the second traffic signal, Davisville Road, turn left.
  5. On Davisville Road, at the first traffic signal, Turnpike Drive, turn left.
  6. Take Turnpike Drive until it ends.
  7. Take two quick rights and park.
  8. This is not the main entrance, but you can't miss it.  The office space will be lit up.
