Meeting and hanging out with the students in Taiwan made me realize that being a teenager can be fun and yet precious at the same time since being a teenager only happens once in a lifetime.
We toured around many scenic spots in Taiwan and
that made me also realize the real beauty of nature especially riding on a ferry. I had a wonderful time riding on Taipei's rail transit. While shopping at Taipei 101 and cruising around Taipei City, I was
able to get to know more about my penpal and the other students. It was interesting comparing our school experiences and our future academic plans.
Seeing them learn how to play the ukulele and say some Hawaiian words was one of the memorable highlights of our trip to Taiwan.
