 Hearing that we were going to Shanghai's
French Concession as our next destination gave me a strong feeling of excitement---considering the fact that I'm a great francophile myself!
Visiting this place gave me an idea of Shanghai's rich European influence by the British, French, and German. This strong European influence is evident through some of the city's buildings, structures, and busy cafés. Walking around the concession felt as though I was taking a promenade at some Parisian streets.
