The Great Wall 长城

From    fantasy    to    reality!     Never  before   have  I imagined     myself     walking    on     the   world-famous G r  e a t     W a l l     of China.      It   felt     like a   dream   come    true c l i m b i n g     through its stairs,    which    I would        say        were rather       steep       for ordinary  stairs,  but  of course         that     was the    charm    of     this   g r e a t   s t r u c t u r e afterall.       B e s i d  e s,     it        was      a          good exercise    for   all   of  us.      With    the   Great   Wall's  enormous   size,   it  was   difficult  for   me  to  imagine  and  picture  in  my   mind  how   long   it   took to  build this  wall    and   how    many     lives    were    sacrificed  to   defend   China    against    northern    invaders  with this ancient wall that still amazingly stands today.
