Create a unique bond learning how to recognise and
respond to your baby's toileting signals.

The nappy free method, known as elimination
communication or EC, is a way of 'tuning in'
to baby in order to communicate about their
bodily functions. Parents can work with babies'
natural inclination not to soil or wet themselves,
and help them become accustomed to using a
potty from birth. For online information about
EC, please visit:

The Oxford Nappy Free Baby Group is a
free support group that meets once a
month at the Barracks Lane Community
Garden. The workshop is a practical
session where parents can observe their
babies, often letting them lie, sit or crawl
without a nappy. More mobile babies/toddlers
may prefer to wear training pants or a cloth
nappy without a cover. Parents can use the
time to watch their baby for signals, and they
can experiment with sitting them on, or
holding them over, a potty, in a relaxed,
supportive environment.

Do you:

live in or near Oxford, and want to learn more about EC?
want to exchange advice and support about EC?
want to get to know parents with shared interests?
want to spend an afternoon in a cosy log cabin and toddler-friendly garden?

Then come along to the Oxford Nappy Free Baby Group!

Held at Barracks Lane Community Garden, 2pm - 4pm, last Friday of the
month. For directions, click here.

Antonia has devised a new leaflet explaining the basics of baby-led potty training or EC.
This leaflet will be sent out to health professionals across the city, so that they can point
parents in our direction, should they wish to find out more.
