Other Australian OWN Groups

Own (Qld) inc. is affilitated with OWN (Australia) Inc. Presently the OWN (Queensland)President is the Convenor  (President) of OWN (Australia).

Older Women's Network (Australia) is a National body and is run by a Management Committee composed of representatives from amongst the states.  This group represents OWN at the National Level.  The present federal grant they have will see their project worker visit city and regional branches in Queensland in early 2010.

18 (or more) OWN groups or branches are established in New South Wales.

2 OWN groups are established in the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Western Australia.

OWN has contact with Older Women's Groups in Tasmania.

South Australia and the Northern Territory  have previously expressed interest in OWN.
