It is 4-H Policy that all participants must be enrolled in the current year's 4-H program before attending a meeting. Enrollment means that the online process has been completed, fees have been paid and medical history forms/waivers have been turned in. All enrolled members receive insurance coverage. As spectating youth would not be covered by insurance, 4-H does not allow youth to attend to "check out a meeting" or bring a friend. The 4-H year runs September through June. At the first meeting of the year, prospective participants are introduced to the 4-H program and the projects being offered for that 4-H year. At that meeting, new members are given information for enrolling online. Dog Project members are encouraged to enroll right away as we cap our enrollment at 30 members for safety reasons. To receive club introductory information and a meeting notice for this kick-off meeting, contact Tracy Williams, the Olivenhain Valley 4-H Club Community Leader, through the Olivenhain Valley 4-H Club web site. Our club does offer enrollment throughout the 4-H calendar year. If you are interested in joining after September, please visit the Club web site, noted above, and contact Tracy for enrollment instructions.
