Supporting Hoofers through Bequests / Legacies

 Hoofers welcomes and appreciates the donation of equipment, donation of supplies and materials, and donation of funds.

It is possible to have gifts given through the UW Foundation through one's will. The UW Foundation can answer questions and make the process easy. Contact Bonnie Bruce (608-263-2135) at the UW Foundation, Glenda Noel-Ney (608-262-2687) at the Wisconsin Union, or Jim Rogers (608-262-1630) at the Hoofers / Outdoor Programs Office

Wording that can be used would be similar to:

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to the University of Wisconsin-Foundation, a nonprofit, non-stock Wisconsin corporation with its principal offices in Madison, Wisconsin, the sum of ____________ dollars ($ ) to be used for the Wisconsin Union Hoofers ________________ (club or program) for the purpose of . . . . at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

It is understood and agreed that should the purpose for which this bequest is instituted cease to exist, then the Foundation may devote said bequest for other Hoofer Clubs and programs, as it determines to be in accordance with my original intent in making this gift.
