Our Wedding

September 28, 2008 ~ Willowbend Country Club ~ Cape Cod

Our wedding day was perfect! We couldn't have hoped for a better day after all the planning that went into it. Okay, well we would have liked it to be sunny, but it was still perfect.

Getting Ready

I got ready in one of the suites at Willowbend while Tim got ready at his parents' house nearby.

Our ceremony was "outside" on a beautiful covered patio off of the Willowbend dining room. Luckily, since the rain wasn't coming down too hard, our guests stayed dry and we still got to get married where we had really wanted to.

Though it rained all afternoon and evening, there was a 30-minute break in the rain after the ceremony - just enough time for us to get pictures out on the golf course! It couldn't have been timed more perfectly.

our favors were donations to a local breast cancer research table numbers that I made - we named all of the tables after famous Red Sox players

fund in honor of my mom, 2 of my aunts, and in memory of

one of Tim's aunts. The card said:

"In honor of our guests,

a donation has been made to the

Dana Farber Breast Cancer Research Fund

as a tribute to our loved ones who have

been affected by breast cancer.

Please accept this pin as a symbol of our

continuing hope for a cure.

Love, Tim & Kara"

Honeymoon

We stayed at the Sandals Regency on St Lucia for 11 days/10 nights. We had a butler-level room on the bluffs which has beautiful views. We loved our time there and didn't want to come home!
