Welcome to the web site of Our Lady of Mercy Chapter, located inside MCI Norfolk, MA.  (See the note to the page, "Who is Fr. Lataste, O.P. and Why is He Important?)  Yes, OLMC is inside a prison.  It's a long story; I'll eventually get to that. MCI Norfolk is the largest facility of its type in MA.  It is a medium security facility, just south of Boston.  The prison population is approximately 1500 inmates.  There are approximately 40 members in OLMC.

     We meet every Sunday at 1:00 PM and twice a month on Wednesday evenings.  Schedule for the next few months is attached.  If you would like to visit our chapter, you are most welcome.  But you need security clearance.  Contact the Catholic Chaplain, Miss Ruth Raichele, O.P. and be prepared to give her your birth date, your license number, and social security number.  Ruth's email is: Bethanyosfop@aol.com    Chapter email is ourladyofmercyop@aol.com       Security clearance could take up to a month.
