 Mildred
Alfonsa Massarella was known as Mildred. She was the daughter of Gaetano and Concetta Buzzeo Massarella. She was born on December 26, 1903 in New York, NY. She married Louis Lawrence Caporizzo who had been born in San-mongo Sul Calore, Italy on April 5, 1899. Louis was a plumber and president of Caporizzo and Rosa, plumbing and heating contractors, which served Stamford for forty years. He was a member of Plumbers Local 311 and a former member of the Sacred Heart Holy Name Society. Louis died on November 20, 1974 at Stamford Hospital and Mildred died at the age of forty on November 24, 1944 from endocarditis. They had two children, Vincent and Concetta (who was known as Cucie).
