ASA NYS C/D Slowpitch Tournament

July 23-24 NYS ASA "D" Slow Pitch - 2 Home runs Aug 6-7  NYS ASA  "C" Slow Pitch - 4 Home runs Double elimination - ASA umpires Two bids to the national tournament  ASA Tournament Roster must be completely filled out and signed by your District Commissioner the Roster - must be completed, legible and sent or hand carried to the fields at least one hour before your first game Roster - writeable PDF Entry form – to be sent with check or MO - PDF Entry form – to be sent with check or MO (Writeable) ASA Tournament rules Motels and Hotels in the Oswego area - (from the SUNY Oswego web site) Brackets:  TBA Format:     Double elimination National Bids:Bid to the National Tournament. The first place team will get a $400 (depending upon the number of teams, at least 8) award toward the National entry fee. Trophies will also be presented. The entry form and fee: ASA NYS C and D Slowpitch: $275 Teams must be ASA registered with their local commissioner (if not registered the fee is $25, payable to the local commissioner). Please send a bank check or MO payable to the Oswego YMCA (non-refundable). For the State 'D' tournament it must be post marked by Thursday July 14th  or your team will NOT be accepted. For the State 'C' tournament it must be post marked by Thursday July 28th or your team will NOT be accepted.  A tournament roster must be completed, signed by your District Commissioner legible and sent or hand carried to the fields at least one hour before your first game. Bats: Current non-approved ASA bat list will be enforced Umpires: ASA umpires Uniforms: All teams must wear the same color jerseys (with different numbers). Ball caps, visors, and headbands are optional for players. If worn, they can be mixed, but must be worn properly. Brackets: Double elimination – teams will be notified on Wednesday before the tournament  Legend’s Field Rules: No alcohol, coolers, or pets are allowed at the Complex or parking lot.
