Club Osos Madrid Rugby Sub proudly to invites you to the UWR Madrid Open 2011. The tournament will take place in Madrid, 14^th/05/11, at Centro de Natación Mundial 86 (also known as M - 86).

ORGANIZER:

Club Osos Madrid Rugby Sub, CMHS (Club Madrid Hockey Sub), FEDAS (Federación Española de Actividades Subacuáticas), FMDAS (Federación Madrileña de Actividades Subacuáticas), with collaboration from IMDER (Instituto Madrileño del Deporte, el Esparcimiento y la Recreación) y and Consejería de Deporte de la Comunidad de Madrid. 

DATE:

14/05/2011 Competition, Finals and Winner Ceremony.             

POOL:  

25,00 m long, 16,00 m wide and depth 5,15 meters . Indoor pool.

Playground will be reduced by means of temporary lanes to 16 long m, 12 m wide. 

PARTICIPANTS:

The Cup will be played in female and male category.

Minimum number of female and male teams to carry out the Championship is 5 by category.

Every player must have a current National License Card (insurance) or show a document sealed by his Federation with the player’s name, last name, and number of license.

PLAYING SCHEDULE

The game schedule depends on the number of participating teams. Game time is approximately 12 mins. ineffective (depends on number of teams), and a minimum of 4 games per team is guaranteed. The final game schedule will be sent out by e-mail to the contact person for each team.

RULES:

UWR rules of CMAS will be applied.

REFEREES:

Every team has to provide 2 referees. (named upon registration). The team registering will have to pay 25 € for each referee not provided. Fine for referee absence is 25 € per referee per game.

PROTEST:

Protest fee is € 25. Any written protest must be submitted to the Tournament Management within 30 minutes after the corresponding game ends. If the protest is favorable the fee will be refunded.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:

Participation at this Championship takes place at one’s own risk. The FEDAS and FMDAS could not be considered liable for any personal or material damages.

MEDICAL CARE:

Permanently present at the diving pool

LODGING:

Facilities for booking accommodation will be provided. Further information will be sent upon request.

DINNER & FIESTA

A tournament dinner will be arranged to celebrate the UWR spirit and to perform the prizes ceremony. Participants will be asked in advance to confirm their assistance (prices around 25 € per person).

The tournament is performed o during a local fairy weekend, so is an ideal time to visit Madrid and its nightlife.

ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT DEADLINE:

The interested teams have to send an email before 14/04/2011 to the address written below.

Entry fee before 15/02/2011: 150 € per team.

Entry fee from 16/02/2011 to 14/04/2011: 200 € per team
