The Strait Talk Symposium is an innovative program dedicated to the creation of open channels of dialogue on the Strait issue.

Starting with our first symposium in November 2005, we have endeavored to bring together a large number of academics, students, and other interested parties into dialogue.

The central focus of each year is the fifteen delegates who travel from leading universities from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the United States to participate in an intense sixday dialogue on the strait issue. Many of last year’s delegates said attending the symposium was a “life-changing” experience.

In addition to the delegate dialogue, this year’s symposium will focus on the impact of the internet, changing definitions of culture and identity, and global security concerns in shaping cross-strait relations.

Our goal is increased understanding, in the hopes that greater understanding between all sides will help bring about a brighter, more peaceful future.

个人意见: 我没有自己去过，不过从朋友Krace Zhou同学的经验来看，是很不错的一个conference。可以结交很多海峡对岸的台湾同胞。

ATI's annual entrepreneurial conference provides unique networking opportunities for high-profile attendees, especially in giving U.S. based companies the chance to meet many up-and-coming Chinese entrepreneurs. This year's conference will focus on the rapidly changing nature of the web. Panels will facilitate discussion on Web 2.0, alternative energy, and the issues of intellectual property in China.

个人意见: 我的好朋友Hill Wang是ATI的主席，他领导的团队为此付出了不少的心血。值得一去。
