Mission Statement: The Mission of the Osborn Island Residents Association is to preserve the environment and quality of life on Osborn Island, to generate neighborliness among its residents and protect the value of their property, to discourage overdevelopment and commercial exploitation of the area, and to encourage pride in the island's and the region’s history. ==================================================================== Charity & Civic Activites:
In addition to the social and Mission activities, O.I.R.A. contributes to many local organizations. These include two scholarships to the local high school, the Tuckerton Inter-Faith Food Pantry, The Little Egg Harbor Twp. Volunteer Fire Department, the Little Egg Harbor Twp. Memorial Day Parade Committee, the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and the local P.A.L. O.I.R.A. also organizes & participates in twice-a-year Radio Road beach clean-ups. |
