[Editor] Just to make everyone aware, several homes on Kansas Road had attempted break-ins during the past two weeks. Window screens were cut as the intruders apparently were checking whether windows were unlocked. LEH police said that they will increase patrols in the area. 7/25/08 Hi

Appreciate
help on best routes from Osborn Inlet to Little Egg Inlet and from
Osborn to Marker 139. I've run soft aground a couple of times...keep my
eye on the depth guage but am quickly in very shallow water. I see a
lot of boats headed directly to the fish factory from Osborn...but it
looks as if you can get in trouble quickly that route. Appreciate
advice to: surftamer@gmail.com

Little Egg Builders, Ron Speck for an addition of a 12 x 24 room on the
back of our home as well as an extension to our front porch. They are
very reasonable, thorough and great guys to work with. I highly
recommend them, they have done alot of work on Osborn Island and are

We interviewed
over 10 contractors before hiring Danny Pomponio, owner of Pomponio
Construction in Tuckerton, #609-713-2370. Danny is an approved
contractor for Lowe's. We received positive feedback from Tuckerton
Lumber about his work. I've attached before and after photos of our
home because his work speaks for itself. Danny is reliable,
consistently on time and dependable. Several times Danny asked if we
wanted to make a change or upgrade, saying, "if this were my house,
this is what I would do". He was right and we went with his advice.
Danny handled all sub-contractors, such as plumbing, electrical,
fiberglass decking, roofing, siding, gutter, carpeting and tiling
contractors for us. We invite OIRA members to drive by the yellow
colonial with blue roof at 15 Louisiana Drive and see the difference,
then give Danny a call if they are interested in having work done on
their home. Danny's company will do projects as small as window
replacement to major renovations such as our's. If anyone has
