The PIR sensor is used to detect infrared radiation emitted from live bodies, it is used in motion detection systems such as burglar alarms

* If you couldn't find BISS0001 or any other PIR controller in the local market, you can implement the controlling circuit from scratch as illustrated in PIR Sensor datasheet.


Simulation

Since Proteus doesn't introduce a model for the BISS0001 IC , I created its internal circuit from scratch.

Notes:


            PIR Plastic Cover
  • The PIR plastic cover is very important:
    1. It protects the PIR sensor from hand touches and sharp objects.
    2. It contains the Fresnel lens
    3. It contains an Infrared filter so that visible light couldn't affect the sensor.
