Orlando Poly is a discussion & social group for the polyamorous, poly-curious, and poly-friendly in the Orlando area. We meet once a month to discuss poly issues and topics, and to socialize and support the local poly community.

We have a 2-part format: we meet on the first Sunday of every month, at 2 PM, at The Center (946 Mills Ave.) for the discussion portion, then at 4 PM we move to Jason's Deli on Colonial / SR-50 (behind Chipotle) for socializing. Members can attend either or both portions. There is a
$2 per person fee charged by the facility but free parking in the lot, the alley behind The Center, and in the bank lot across the street. Outside food & drink is welcome, so feel free to bring some for yourself or to share, or just bring yourself!

We encourage people of all genders and sexual/relationship orientations who are interested in discussing open relationships and polyamory. We also welcome friends and family of polyamorists who are interested in learning more about the type of relationship style their loved ones are engaged in.

We support polyamory, open relationships, open marriages, and responsible non-monogamy.  We have members that have engaged in triads, Vees, quads, networks, tribes, pods, nests, and even couples and singles.

Polyamory (n) - poly - from the Greek word meaning "many"; amory - from the latin word amor, meaning "love". Literally, this word means "many loves". The practice and/or belief of romantically loving more than one person at a time.

The two essential ingredients of the concept of "polyamory" are "more than one" and "loving." That is, it is expected that the people in such relationships have a loving emotional bond, are involved in each other's lives multi-dimensionally, and care for each other. This term is not intended to apply to merely casual recreational sex, anonymous orgies, one-night stands, pick-ups, prostitution, "cheating", serial monogamy, or the popular definition of swinging as "mate-swapping" parties.
~Morning Glory Zell (coined the term in 1990)

Video and audio recording, and still photography are not permitted at the meetings.  We are not "secret" like Alcoholics Anonymous, but many of our members are not "out" to family or the public and we wish to provide a safe space for all our members.  Lectures and workshops may be recorded or photographed if the speaker gives permission, but no audience recordings are allowed.  Photography and video of social events may be permitted for personal use, such as party pictures, but please do not tag anyone other than yourself if posted to Facebook.
