The Orlando Consort based in Orlando, Florida, is a group of recorder enthusiasts interested in promoting the art of recorder playing and performance. We began as a core group of 4 players in 2009 and have grown to over 15 members in 2011.

 

Beginning and advanced players meet at 1 PM on Fridays at the Maitland Senior Center, 345 S. Maitland Avenue, Maitland, Florida, 32751.  Advanced players meet every Monday at 7 pm at the home of one of our members.  For more information on either of these groups please send us an e-mail at the link above.

 

 

We recently joined the American Recorder Society and have become a full-fledged chapter of that organization.  All members of the Orlando Consort are also members of ARS.
