ABOUT US

The inspiration for the name Tir A Môr came from the legend of Cantre'r Gwaelod - The Lost Land of Wales. With the sea and beach a vital face in the life of Borth, visible at low tides in the winter, the remains of an ancient forest can be seen along the coast, unique tree stumps and roots of this medieval sunken land. Speciality coffee, hot chocolate and tea are served with various choice snacks throughout the day. Now available fresh stone baked pizza's! panini's baguettes, sandwiches and welsh beef burgers, salad bar, homemade cakes and ice cream. As well as seating outside, their is further seating inside the shop, also an upstairs coffee lounge overlooking the Plynlimon and the Cambrian Mountain Range.  The shop is well stocked with prints, original artwork, ceramic art tiles, cards, gifts, pictures paintings of Borth Beach and scenic views, photos and much more, the workshop produces speciality picture framing, and most requirements can be fulfilled satisfactorily.
