Opposite the house there is a beautiful garden belonging to the restaurant 'Airinos de lujar'. A beer costs just over a pound and usually comes with generous tapas.  It is a pleasant spot to sit and chat beneath the scented blossoms during the warm summer evenings. 

 

Around the corner and two minutes walk from the house is a peaceful Morrocan ice-cream parlour and health food cafe which serves inexpensive meals for both vegetarians and meat eaters.

 

 

Also less than a minutes walk from the house is the open market terrace, another popular venu for visitors, where you can enjoy a beer with tapas or  an inexpensive dish.  Around the corner the mainstreet is lined with street cafes and bars where visitors sit and watch the world go by.
