Getting to Órgiva:
 

 
Órgiva is 50 kilometers south of Granada.
 
Leave Granada on the A-44/E-902 travelling south towards Motril and after 34 kilometers take the exit east for Lanjarón. Then follow the signs to Órgiva.
 
You can also take one of the regular scheduled buses direct to Órgiva, for around 5 euros .

 Hiring a car?
When you collect your car follow the signs to Malaga and pick up the main E-15/A7 coastal motorway (following signs to Antequera/Sevilla/Granada/Motril).  The motorway ends near Salobrena and you continue along the main road to Motril. Just before you get to Motril you turn off onto the A44 motorway towards Granada.  Then take the turn off to Orgiva and Las Alpujarras (A 346).  You then travel along a beautiful mountain road until you take the final Orgiva turn off (left immediately after passing through a road tunnel). Park in the main car park.
