The very first thing you will need to do if you haven't already is get a free Second Life account. If you need assistance getting started, there is a how to document below- "Getting Started in Second Life". If you need further assistance, please contact new avatar ambassador Michael Russell (Regulus Darkstone in Second Life)  for further assistance- his contact information is in the "Getting Started" PDF. Linden Labs has also made a simple visual quickstart guide available in PDF form; you can download this helpful guide here.

Once you have a Second Life account, and have gone through required tasks on the system's "Orientation Island", you can join the OCCDLA group in Second Life to gain access to OR Community Colleges Island. (add document that lists steps to find OCCDLA group and OR Community Colleges Island)
