SurveyWorks! Parent Survey
I am asking that you to take an important ten-minute online survey, called SurveyWorks, about our school. The Rhode Island Department of Education conducts this survey each year. It gives schools important feedback on these key areas for school success:
climate and safety
teaching and learning
family involvement
resources
Parents can take the short survey online or on paper between January 5, 2012 and February 16, 2012. To take the survey online go to: www.surveyworks.ride.ri.gov and click on “Take a Survey. The password to take the Orchard Farms Survey is send. I thank you in advance for your time.

Important Notice Regarding Parking
IMPORTANT
As part of Safe Routes to School, a grant-funded city and law enforcement initiative, there will be a Cranston Police officer patrolling Orchard Farms School during arrival and dismissal times. I remind you all to be mindful of all posted signs. Police will be specifically ticketing motorists who are parked illegally in handicap parking spaces and in the fire lane in front of the school. When visiting the school, please park in the parking lot. Thank you.

Salsibury Farms now Saturday!
Due to the inclement weather, the Salsbury Farms event has been postponed to tomorrow, Saturday October 15th. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Orchard
Farms WALK-A-THON Unites Students with a Common Goal!School spirit abounds at our annual Walkathon!
Students buzz with excitement and revel in the fresh air and extra exercise. A
sense of pride permeates the air and translates into real differences at Orchard Farms. The
Walkathon is the biggest PTO Fundraiser of the year. Last year, the generosity
of our community continued to support so many activities and programs; this
year we hope to continue all of these efforts. Please see the attached flyers/forms. We would all like to thank you in advance for your generosity.
