This invention is a method of increasing the efficiency of both washing machines and/or dishwashers by achieving an optimal pH level within each wash to maximise the effectiveness of each wash while minimising detergent and energy use and pollutants, including green house gas emissions. This new generation of dishwashers and washing machines will carry the “Optimal Wash Technology TM” Trade Mark and will automatically real-time read the current pH level of each wash (it may be displayed on the machine to the user or not, dependent on the machine manufacturers preference) and enable either the machine user or the factory default settings of the machines computer to set the desired optimal pH level. To optimise the effectiveness of the wash in light of the amount of detergent and water used and the resultant pH level, the machine computer will release an additive, if necessary, to adjust the current pH level to the required pH level that optimises the effective of the detergent used and therefore the wash while minimising water use, detergent and energy use and pollutants, including green house gases. | In The News |
