Note: Through Labor Day 2012, the club is open only on Mondays that are not national holidays, from 7:30 pm to 9 p.m. If you wish to visit on a Wednesday evening, please call or e-mail ahead to determine if a club member can accommodate your request. See contacts below.

The Oak Park Society of Model Engineers (OPSME) is a not-for-profit, educational HO Gauge Model Railroad Club, beginning its 5th decade!

The OPSME layout is home to the Oak River Railroad. It has been located in the lower level of the Dole Learning Center at 255 Augusta Boulevard, Oak Park, Illinois, since 1979, when it moved from the Lewis Carroll Center in south Oak Park.

We are dedicated to the understanding, building, and enjoyment of HO scale model railroading and the history of the important industry that inspires it.
