This site is being set up to help any parent or setting that wishes to apply for Exemption from the Learning and Development goals of the EYFS and/or the profile assessments that go with them.

                           It will contain details of the application process, the DCSF guidance and form letters that can be used freely in whole or part to write to a Setting or Local Authority.

                           It will also contain copies of replies from such applications and an account of the  experiences of those who try - the replies they receive and the obstacles they encounter.

                          We plan to track some applications under the guidance of a barrister and solicitor, so that if the exemption is refused we shall be in the strongest possible position to appeal.
