I have been using the Internet since 1999. But from 2004 I started reading e-books

which promised to show me how to make money on the Internet. I even ordered a book

which promised to show me 43 ways to make money online almost Instantly - using only email.

Needless to say none of these 43 methods made me any money, instead I lost money by

subscribing to services which promised to deliver big but in the end I have nothing to show for  any of them.

If you are like me, then you must know how hard it's trying to make money online.

There are lots of so-called "money making opportunities" on the Internet:

• Adsense, and other paid advertising services,
• Affiliate marketing,
• Article marketing,
• Online surveys,
• Selling on eBay and Amazon,
• Owing and selling digital products.

These are fine, they are all legitimate ways to make money on the Internet.

There are also systems out there that promise to show you

how to make money from the comfort of your bedroom, in your pajamas without lifting a finger.

The problem with most of them is that they are either to difficult to succeed at

or it is plain impossible to make any reasonable amount of money from

them especially if you don't know what you are doing.

I am not one to give up so I have been asking myself the question,

“why are you not succeeding at your online business” ?

Not that I an not smart enough or anything like that.

After so much soul searching I found out the reason: I started my online wrong !

I did not put any effort into learning the basics of an online business. Duh.

We all needed to learn the basics at some point.  You and I need a good foundation.
