Daily Homework Homework assignments are posted on the whiteboard each day. The class goes over the night's homework together before the end of the school day. Each student is responsible to record the assignments in his or her agenda, ask questions, and make sure he/she has the necessary materials to take home if the work has not been completed in school. If the student forgets their materials, they should "problem solve" and call a friend. 1. All homework must be done on loose-leaf binder paper only (8 1/2" x 11") - not ragged edge paper 2. All homework must be turned in on time, be complete, and be neat. Missing or late homework will require a Parent Review to be filled out and signed by the parent, then returned with the completed homework on the next school day. 3. Proper heading must be written on all turned in work. Headings will be written on the top right corner of each assignment, unless space is alloted. Name (First & Last) and Class #

Assignment 4. Late assignments will not get full credit. 5. Students are responsible for turning in late work. I will not remind student to turn in their late assignments. After one week, late work will not be accepted. 6. Parents are expected to initial their student's agenda each night until further notice. It not only keeps students accountable for finishing their homework on time, but it also keeps parents informed. 7. Most homework will be corrected in class. Other homework will be checked for completion, if you notice that your child is having trouble with an assignment, please write a note so that I can take a closer look. Homework Tips 1. Come to class everyday prepared with materials requested by your teacher. 2. Pay attention in class! Homework will be easier if you do. 3. Participate in class! Ask questions when you are unsure of what is being discussed. 4. Double check that you have everything you need before you go home. 5. Work efficiently but carefully! |
