The Oneonta Farmers' Market is an open-air market located on Main Street Plaza in historic downtown Oneonta, NY. Visitors will find fresh, healthful foods grown and made by local farmers, and unique hand-made crafts by local artisans. The Market also features a full calendar of special events with live music, arts workshops, free tastings and activities for children. We are open Saturdays throughout the season and Tuesdays, June through September.

JUNE 19 – Dairy Day! Hare and Feather Farm, Stone & Thistle Farm and Raindance Farm offer free tastings at the manager's booth, featuring local egg and dairy products. New vendor, Tauzel Farms, will talk about milking and raising dairy cows, and children will have the chance to see and pet a live calf! Live music with Stoddard Hollow 11 am.
JUNE 26 - Live music with John Gillespie 11 am. Free tastings at the managers table 10 am.
JULY 3 – Independence Day Weekend – Strawberries galore, free tastings and live music 11am JULY 10 – Food For Fitness Day - Sponsored by Healthlinks@Foxcare. Raw veggie snacks, chair massage, educational activities for children, and informational tips on the role that fresh foods and physical fitness play in health and wellness. Live music 11am. JULY 17 – Bellydancing Performance! Members of the Badra Bahiya and Main Street Caravan Bellydancing troups will perform American tribal fusion, ethnic folkloric and Egyptian cabaret style bellydancing. Performances begin at 12 noon. JULY 24 – Grill Day - Sponsored by Ruffino's Pizzeria and Restaurant. Free burger & veggie samples, hot-off-the-grill, and great recipe ideas for summer BBQ parties. AUG. 14 – Fine Arts Festival - The Farmers Market will be at the heart of a street-wide fair with fine arts, jewelry, demonstrations, live music and a juried competition. Main Street closed to traffic AUG. 21 - Berry Day - Free tastings of pastries, preserves and other treats made with locally-grown berries. Live music with Skip West 11 am AUG. 28 – Corn Roast - Free tastings of freshly roasted corn on the cob, activies for kids and live acoustic blues with John Gillespie 11am SEPT.4 – Labor Day Weekend! Free tastings, activities for kids, & a huge variety of fresh, locally-raised foods to BBQ with great recipe ideas for the holiday weekend. Live music 11am
SEPT. 11 – Grand and Glorious Garage Sale! A Main Street favorite! The street is closed to traffic, so come early and bring a carry-all! Find the Oneonta Farmers’ Market at the Main Street Plaza, as usual, in the midst of the area’s biggest and best garage sale. SEPT. 18 – Breakfast at the Market! Sponsored by Latte Lounge. Free samplings of corn-fritter pancakes, sausages hot off the grill and delicious, homemade granola with goat’s milk yogurt! Activities for kids and live bluegrass music with The Expectations 11am SEPT. 25 – Harvest Festival!
