E-Mail Prayer Request

What if church wasn’t just a building, but thousands of ... doors?  Each of them opening up to a different concept       or experience of church – and a journey that could change     our world.                                Would you come?
 WELCOME TO FIRST UMC
You are welcome to stay and  learn more about our Faith and shared Vision as a Christian community in Christ.  If you're not currently a member of our church - we'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to one of our weekly services.  Here, you will experience the various ways in which we attempt to express our commitment to Christ.
We hope you will have a blessed and rewarding experience with us as we worship and fellowship together at services, events, and outreach ministries.

We'd also like to invite you e-mail us an online prayer request. Prayer opens the heart, mind, and soul, to the possibility of God's Grace and Mercy.

Many blessings to you in the name of Christ,

From the Congregation of First United Methodist Church ,Oneida TN

 Jesus said,
A new commandment
 I give unto you,
That ye love one another; as I have loved you...
(John 13:34  KJV)
John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living,
on putting faith and love into action.
This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
