Wrestlers of the Week 2008/2009
Week 1 Jake Rutherford- great intensity at practice
Week 2 Laken Settles- hard work at practice/morning runs
Week 3 Cole Larimore - great effort at EP fr./so. tournament
Week 4 Kameron Carpenter- for leadership and going 3-0 against tough competition
Week 5 Derrick Rider- for extreme discipline and placing 3rd at Pontiac - had to include the russian leg lock photo!
Wolverine Award Week 5 - Travis McDannald, because he has a bit of wolverine in him!
Week 6 Josh Thompson - for wrestling awesome at Clinton Tournament 3rd.
Week 6 Badger Award- Jake Rutherford - Don't let him in on your legs unless you want trouble!
Week 7 and 8 Alex Hish - For hard work at practice and a good attitude.
Week 9 Travis McDannald - For mental toughness and placing 4th at Princeton.
Week 10 Zack Thomas - For Stepping It Up and Getting 2nd at U-High Tournament
Week 11 Cole Matter - For a big pin against Morton and getting down to 160
Stat Keeper Award - Marina Martinez - For helping keep the statistics organized all season
