The diocesan rule regarding coach’s certification is as follows:

If your name has appeared on a CYO roster and you have not taken the training – you will not be allowed to coach any sport beyond one year after the appearance of your name on that roster.  In other words, you must have the training prior to the start of your second year of coaching. 

The Diocese also mandates that all volunteers take the Protecting God's Children class prior to working with children in any capacity.  Watch the church bulletin for upcoming classes.

The diocese requires that all coaches submit the following forms to their sport coordinator :

1. Background Check Form (Good for 3 years)

2. Diocesan Abuse Policy Acknowledgement Form

3. Diocesan Code of Conduct Acknowledgement Form

4. Coach's Code of Conduct Form
